Todd Clark

Hi- This is Todd Clark, Founder and Host for TheDCPLACE.com.  I am looking forward to growing this site and bringing people together around the simple but exciting themes of Volunteering, Going Green and Enjoying local restaurants, clubs, parks, businesses, galleries-  you name it! I have been in D.C. for about 15 years and have worked as a producer, director, editor, videographer, actor, comic, and MC/HOST.  Through my production company, ONANON Productions, (ONANONProductions.com) I have had the chance to work internationally-in such places as The Gambia in West Africa, Tanzania in East Africa, Albania, Croatia, Puerto Rico and Uzbekistan.  I was awarded an EMMY for my Public Affairs/Hard Issues work, "The Stories Behind the Red Ribbon".  I have also produced and provided programming for numerous live Gala events with such luminaries as composer, Marvin Hamlisch; choreographer, Debbie Allen; Singer, Denyce Graves; Heavyweight Boxing champions Joe Frazier and Larry Holmes, among many other inspirational artists and leaders. I have had the honor of interviewing hundreds of people for public affairs and promotional programs, including former President George W. Bush, Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, and dozens of members of the House and Senate.  My greatest joy has come from the production of public affairs programs that have made a difference.  My hope is that theDCPLACE.com will also make a difference. So, together lets find ways to Renew, Rebuild and Enjoy Washington, D.C. !!
